Retail Analyst

Job Summary

To support retail technology initiatives, the remote Retail Analyst will analyze business needs across POS, ecommerce, and payments systems, develop structured documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and translate operational challenges into actionable requirements across retail technology systems
• Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and maintain detailed documentation of system behavior and configurations
• Collaborate with various teams to support issue analysis, system enhancements, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or retail technology environments
• Strong experience writing structured documentation such as BRDs and functional specifications
• Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex systems and workflows
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
