Retail Design Job Captain

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Retail Design Job Captain will provide design support in project administration, design development, and contract documents while overseeing compliance with standards and budget management.

Key responsibilities

• Create and review contract documents to ensure compliance with standards and codes
• Manage project through the contract administration phase, coordinating with engineering consultants
• Mentor junior designers and conduct client interviews to determine technical requirements for design

Required qualifications

• Graduate of architecture school or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in retail design projects, including new construction and renovations
• Advanced skills in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
• Extensive knowledge of design principles, building systems, codes, and ADA requirements
• Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite and documentation procedures
