Retail Strategy Director
Job Summary
To drive significant growth in retail channels, the full-time salaried Head of Retail will take ownership of strategic relationships, manage retail economics, and lead the expansion into major retailers like Walmart and Target while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Protect and scale the Walmart relationship by managing assortment, pricing, and trade spend
- Launch and internalize the Target relationship, executing a successful national launch and managing internal workstreams
- Develop a prioritized retail expansion strategy targeting 10,000+ doors and build a retailer-specific assortment strategy
Required qualifications
- 10+ years in consumer products and retail sales with senior leadership experience
- Proven ownership of a meaningful Walmart business; strong preference for experience with Target
- Experience managing a retail business exceeding $25M
- Demonstrated success in expanding distribution into thousands of retail doors
- Strong background in personal care, grooming, or related consumer products with P&L responsibility
