Job Summary
A company is looking for a Manager of SMB Account Management (Retention).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a remote team of 8-10 Retention Account Managers focused on churn reduction
- Drive retention outcomes through forecasting, pipeline discipline, and negotiation execution
- Partner cross-functionally to identify churn drivers and improve the merchant experience
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or a related customer-facing role
- 3-5 years of direct people management experience in a performance-driven environment
- Experience managing a team focused on revenue retention or churn mitigation
- Demonstrated success in coaching negotiation and high-stakes customer conversations
- Experience in identifying root causes and implementing structured improvements
