Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of SMB Account Management (Retention).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a remote team of 8-10 Retention Account Managers focused on churn reduction
  • Drive retention outcomes through forecasting, pipeline discipline, and negotiation execution
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify churn drivers and improve the merchant experience
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or a related customer-facing role
  • 3-5 years of direct people management experience in a performance-driven environment
  • Experience managing a team focused on revenue retention or churn mitigation
  • Demonstrated success in coaching negotiation and high-stakes customer conversations
  • Experience in identifying root causes and implementing structured improvements
