Job Summary

A company is looking for a Retirement Plan Administrator - Plan Terminations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the complete process of terminating employer-sponsored retirement plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with plan sponsors, service providers, and participants for the efficient distribution of plan assets
  • Educate stakeholders on plan termination procedures and address any concerns throughout the process
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in A-Z retirement plan administration, with expertise in 401(k) plan terminations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IRS, DOL, and ERISA regulations related to retirement plans
  • Experience using FTW and PensionPro preferred
  • Professional certifications such as QKA or APA, and ASPPA/NIPA membership are a plus
