Retirement Plan Compliance Consultant
Job Summary
As a full-time, fully remote Plan Consultant II, the candidate will manage complex retirement plan compliance tasks, support audits and regulatory matters, and serve as a senior technical resource for the team.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor compliance obligations and perform annual nondiscrimination and compliance testing for assigned plans
- Prepare government filings, including Form 5500 and support IRS and DOL audits
- Provide technical support to internal teams and clients while mentoring junior consultants
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in qualified retirement plan administration and compliance
- In-depth knowledge of IRS, DOL, and ERISA regulations
- High proficiency in compliance software such as FTW
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Collaborative mindset with a genuine interest in mentoring others
