Job Summary
Managing a portfolio of clients, the full-time Retirement Plan Consultant will oversee retirement plan administration and compliance, providing proactive service and support while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, delivering relationship-driven service and addressing inquiries related to retirement plan administration
- Perform annual compliance testing and valuations for qualified retirement plans to ensure adherence to IRS requirements
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to coordinate deliverables and support effective client service
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in defined contribution plan administration with a focus on Third Party Administration
- Experience with various retirement plan types, including 401(k) and 403(b) plans
- Proficiency in performing retirement plan compliance testing and communicating results to stakeholders
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn new software platforms
- Progress toward the ASPPA Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designation is preferred
