Retirement Plan Consultant
Job Summary
Responsible for preparing plan documents and conducting compliance testing, the full-time remote Retirement Plan Consultant will manage client service issues, assist with IRS filings, and support the implementation of defined contribution plans.
Key responsibilities
- Prepares defined contribution plan documents and conducts plan year-end non-discrimination testing
- Maintains ongoing client contact to address service issues and vendor management
- Assists in IRS filings and processes distributions, ensuring compliance with regulations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two or more years of related work experience in retirement plan operations
- Understanding of ERISA guidelines and regulations
- Experience with small to mid-size clients (250+ employees)
- Professional designation (ASPPA, NIPA, etc.) or progress toward designation is preferred
