Job Summary
Leading the implementation and transition of new retirement plan clients, the full-time Retirement Plan Implementation Specialist will coordinate onboarding activities, manage project milestones, and serve as the primary liaison among clients, recordkeepers, and internal teams in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation and conversion activities for new retirement plan clients, ensuring successful onboarding from sales to service
- Manage implementation timelines and proactively identify risks or delays while coordinating with various stakeholders
- Educate plan sponsors on operations and responsibilities while monitoring data integrity throughout the implementation process
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in retirement plan administration, implementation, or operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of qualified retirement plans, including ERISA and compliance basics
- Familiarity with plan documents, conversions, and payroll integration processes
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Strong consultative and relationship management skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
