Retirement Plan Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist to manage and administer 401(k) plans remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with clients to gather information for annual reporting and prepare necessary government filings
• Review client-submitted documents for accuracy and completeness, and reconcile plans using Excel and administration software
• Educate clients about their 401(k) plans and maintain communication throughout the reporting process

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of 401(k) plan structure and IRS/DOL regulations preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
