Retirement Plan Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Retirement Plan Specialist will manage the administration, testing, and reporting of 401(k) plans, ensuring client compliance and understanding of necessary documentation.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with clients to gather information for annual reporting and prepare required government filings
• Review client-submitted documents for accuracy and completeness while reconciling plans using Excel and administration software
• Educate clients on the administration of their 401(k) plans and maintain proactive communication throughout the reporting process

Required qualifications:

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of 401(k) plan structure and IRS/DOL regulations is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
• Must pass a background check and meet work-from-home requirements
