Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply core revenue accounting principles to ensure correct revenue treatment
• Ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of cash activity related to customer payments
• Take a key role in monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting role, ideally within SaaS or technology
• Strong proficiency working with business systems and processes (Excel, CRM, ERP, etc.)
• Familiarity with revenue recognition concepts and internal controls
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce CRM, and/or RevPro is a plus
