Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Accountant to manage billing and collections operations and apply technical revenue recognition expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end billing and collections operations, including invoicing and accounts receivable management
• Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition principles to complex customer contracts and support month-end close deliverables
• Document and maintain accounting processes, ensuring scalability and compliance with internal controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent
• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in revenue recognition or order-to-cash processes
• Solid understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
• Experience with billing and collections operations and familiarity with subsidiary accrual accounting
• Strong knowledge of GL accounting and the monthly close process
