Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Accountant responsible for managing the end-to-end revenue recognition process for SaaS subscription and professional services revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer contracts to determine revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries related to subscription and professional services revenue
• Maintain and reconcile the deferred revenue schedule and support the financial close process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA preferred or actively pursuing certification
• Minimum of 2-4 years of accounting experience with direct experience in revenue recognition under ASC 606
• Experience in SaaS or subscription-based business preferred
• Public accounting experience is a plus
