Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Revenue Accountant will manage the revenue recognition process, ensure compliance with ASC 606 standards, and assist with the transition to a SaaS-based revenue process while collaborating with various teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the revenue recognition process, including contract review, customer billing, and revenue deferrals
• Ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and assist with the transition to a new SaaS-based process
• Prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and support the annual audit process

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting with a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606
• Minimum of a 4-year College degree and/or related certification in Accounting preferred
• Expert-level Excel skills and experience with software implementations/migrations related to revenue systems
• Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy in all duties and processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to articulate complex accounting information clearly
