Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

To support accurate and timely financial reporting, the full-time Revenue Accountant will perform journal entries, account reconciliations, and billing corrections while working in a hybrid environment that combines remote flexibility with in-office collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly journal entries and analyze financial transactions and results
• Conduct research and corrections for customer accounts to ensure accurate billing
• Assist in the preparation of external reporting, including SEC and FERC filings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent required; advanced degree is a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience preferred
• Familiarity with GAAP and experience in preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
• Strong Excel capabilities and experience with Oracle Cloud preferred
• Knowledge of the utility industry and FERC System of Accounts is a plus
