Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

Managing the end-to-end revenue cycle, the full-time Revenue Accountant will ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with GAAP, oversee month-end close processes, and lead accounts receivable and collections efforts in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze sales contracts for proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 guidelines
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize collection efforts while maintaining client relationships
• Prepare and post revenue-related journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in accounting with a focus on revenue recognition and accounts receivable
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and working knowledge of ASC 606
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with major ERP systems
• Experience with billing and subscription management tools is a plus
