Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

Managing the end-to-end revenue cycle, the full-time Revenue Accountant will ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with GAAP, oversee month-end close processes, and lead accounts receivable and collections efforts in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze sales contracts for proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 guidelines
• Prepare and post revenue-related journal entries and perform monthly reconciliations for accounts receivable
• Monitor AR aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and resolve billing discrepancies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, focusing on revenue recognition, accounts receivable, and collections
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and knowledge of ASC 606
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with major ERP and CRM systems
• CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus
