Revenue Accountant
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated Revenue Accountant for a remote, full-time position responsible for supporting revenue accounting functions, including revenue recognition, month-end close activities, reconciliations, and technical accounting research.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and record monthly journal entries related to revenue and deferred revenue activities
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate revenue reporting
- Perform detailed reconciliations of revenue-related balance sheet accounts and support integration of acquired companies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in revenue accounting at a public accounting or high-growth firm
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP and proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly ASC 606
- Ability to analyze large volumes of transactional data from multiple sources
