Revenue Accountant - ASC 606

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Revenue Accountant - ASC 606, the 100% remote contract position will manage month-end and quarter-end close activities, prepare and validate journal entries, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and ASC 606 in a healthcare setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and validate journal entries while managing month-end and quarter-end close activities
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting outputs for accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with regional CFOs and finance teams to provide controllership support and ensure smooth accounting operations

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of controllership or accounting experience in healthcare services
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
• Experience in managing month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Proficiency in reviewing accounting outputs for accuracy and compliance
• Ability to work effectively with finance teams and senior management
