Revenue Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting accurate and insightful revenue reporting, the fully remote Revenue Accounting Analyst will manage revenue accounting and close activities, produce revenue analysis and reporting, and improve data quality and processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile revenue-related schedules, invoices, and general ledger balances while supporting monthly and year-end close activities
• Produce revenue reporting and dashboards to analyze performance, trends, and variances against budget and forecasts
• Identify data quality issues and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in revenue activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Analytics, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
• Two or more years of experience in accounting, revenue accounting, financial analysis, audit, or a related finance role
• Working knowledge of GAAP accounting concepts, including accruals and reconciliations
• Strong technical skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including data analysis and financial reporting
• Experience applying or supporting ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
