Revenue Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Manager of Revenue will analyze and prepare monthly revenue workpapers, support the revenue close process, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and prepare monthly revenue workpapers, including reserves and journal entries
• Support the monthly and quarterly revenue close process for efficiency and effectiveness
• Prepare and maintain internal control documentation and support internal controls testing

Required qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting with a focus on revenue recognition (ASC 606)
• Recent experience at a publicly traded company
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance related to revenue and receivables
• Proven ability to manage complex monthly/quarterly close processes
• Advanced computer system skills, including Office, Oracle, and Power BI
