Revenue Accounting Manager
Job Summary
Supporting Oura's retail business, the full-time remote Revenue Accounting Manager will manage key revenue accounting processes, oversee monthly and quarterly close activities, and partner with Technical Accounting to ensure compliance with revenue guidance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Revenue Accounting team while fostering a collaborative culture
- Own monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations for retail revenue
- Partner with Technical Accounting to operationalize revenue guidance and refine scalable accounting processes for new retailers
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on revenue accounting and ASC 606
- At least 2 years of direct people-management experience
- Retail accounting experience, particularly with reconciliations and deductions
- Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and its practical applications
- Demonstrated ability to lead an accounting team and manage performance effectively
