Revenue Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Owning the revenue close and monthly application of ASC 606, the full-time remote Revenue Accounting Manager will manage the revenue accountant and ensure accurate financial reporting as the company scales through its first external audit.

Key responsibilities

• Run the monthly revenue close, ensuring timely reconciliation of enterprise committed usage and self-serve consumption
• Own contract liability and deferred revenue, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the general ledger
• Apply ASC 606 policy suite monthly, building necessary analyses and schedules in collaboration with Directors

Required qualifications

• Seven or more years in accounting, primarily in revenue, with experience managing a monthly or quarterly close
• Hands-on experience with ASC 606 in a consumption or drawdown model
• Proficiency in data work using SQL, Python, or advanced spreadsheet methodologies
• Active CPA preferred, with a background in a Big 4 or national firm being a plus
• Experience with billing and revenue platforms such as Ordway, Zuora, or NetSuite ARM
