Revenue Analyst

Job Summary

Analyzing and pursuing incorrectly paid medical insurance claims, the full-time remote Revenue Analyst will conduct thorough investigations, communicate with insurance companies, and mentor new team members while managing multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Independently analyze claims and adjust workflow to identify underpayments for pursuit
• Research and ascertain information from various sources to determine causality for underpayments
• Mentor incoming Revenue Analysts and coordinate training for new team members

Required qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 3-5 years of relevant work experience preferred
• Knowledge of the Revenue Cycle industry and experience with hospital claims and payer contracts
• Professional experience in communicating with insurance companies and writing complex appeals
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in OneNote, Word, and advanced Excel
• Ability to conduct research through multiple channels and adapt training to mentee learning styles
