Revenue Assurance Coordinator

Job Summary

To support revenue recovery efforts, the full-time remote Revenue Assurance Coordinator will analyze Revenue Variance Reports, conduct research on discrepancies, and coordinate with various teams to facilitate the appeals process.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze Revenue Variance Reports to identify discrepancies that require further investigation
• Conduct research on variances within billing systems and other data sources to assess potential revenue recovery
• Coordinate with Reimbursement Operations and leadership to manage the status of open appeals and implement necessary modifications

Required qualifications

• High school diploma required; secondary education preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare insurance and/or insurance reimbursement
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Knowledge of payors, insurance types, CPT codes, and fee schedules
• Understanding of the revenue cycle process flow is desired but not required
