Revenue Capture Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Capture Specialist to ensure revenue capture and optimization through charge master reviews and audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconciles daily accounts to ensure all charges are captured in the Accounts Receivable system
• Maintains and updates charge screens in the Electronic Medical Record system and reviews charge master files
• Audits medical records against charges and claims for improvements in charge capture and documentation

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED - Required
• Certified Coding Associate or equivalent (CPC/CSS/CCA/RHIT/RHIA/CPMA) - Preferred
• 3 years' experience in the healthcare industry with an in-depth understanding of clinical areas - Required
• Medical coding and documentation review experience - Preferred
• Understanding of ancillary department functions and ability to work effectively with department staff - Required
