Revenue Capture Specialist

Job Summary

To support revenue optimization efforts, the part-time Relief Revenue Capture Specialist will manage charge master reviews, audits, and reconciliation of charges while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Reconciles daily accounts to ensure all charges are accurately captured in the Accounts Receivable system
• Reviews and edits posted charges for accuracy in accordance with coding/billing rules and procedures
• Maintains and updates charge screens in the Electronic Medical Record system and conducts audits for documentation improvements

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry with a strong understanding of clinical areas
• Certified Coding Associate or equivalent is preferred
• Experience in medical coding and documentation review is preferred
• Proficiency in using computers and basic software programs
