Revenue Contract Review Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Contract Review Accountant to join its dynamic accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document customer agreements to ensure proper revenue recognition in line with internal policies and ASC 606
• Conduct detailed contract reviews and summarize key revenue elements, supporting revenue allocations and preparing journal entries
• Collaborate with internal teams and participate in monthly revenue-focused tasks, contributing to audit readiness and recommending process improvements

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in revenue accounting with a strong understanding of GAAP and ASC 606 principles
• Experience in public accounting or within publicly traded tech firms is preferred
• Direct experience in reviewing revenue contracts and applying revenue recognition principles
• CPA or eligibility preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with tools like Salesforce and data analytics platforms
