Revenue Cycle Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To support the corporate business team, the full-time Revenue Cycle Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage accounts receivable follow-up, resolve delinquent accounts, and communicate effectively with payors and patients in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate follow-up on unpaid or denied claims with appropriate payors or patients
• Research, appeal, and resolve claim rejections/denials promptly
• Document all follow-up and communications on patient accounts in the practice management system

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of physician billing experience
• High school diploma
• Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and database management
• 2-4 years of experience in physician payment posting, billing, and accounts receivable in healthcare (preferred)
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative or other billing certification (preferred)
