Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on processes and reimbursement mechanisms to identify improvement opportunities
• Utilize data for root cause analysis to enhance efficiency and automation in the Revenue Cycle
• Maintain fee schedules and support audit requests, ensuring alignment with medical billing contracts

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, analytic, or healthcare-related field preferred
• 1+ year of healthcare or insurance contracting experience preferred; relevant experience may substitute for a degree
• Fundamental understanding of Revenue Cycle principles, CPT and HCPCS coding
• Working knowledge of DSO reduction, accounts receivable, and HIPAA regulations
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data tools preferred
