Revenue Cycle Analyst
Job Summary
Focused on revenue cycle assessment and process improvement, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Analyst will analyze billing data, identify systemic issues, and collaborate with clients to enhance revenue cycle efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct revenue cycle assessments and design solutions to identified issues
- Research billing and reimbursement problems, presenting findings to stakeholders
- Develop non-standard reports and provide training on the MEDITECH Accounts Receivable module
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Accounting, Math, Business, or related fields, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of revenue cycle analysis or related experience
- Solid knowledge of third-party billing requirements and HIPAA 837/835 electronic language
- Good working knowledge of medical terminology and billing guidelines
- Experience mentoring less experienced team members
