Revenue Cycle AR Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Revenue Cycle AR Specialist will manage accounts receivable, resolve claim issues, and communicate with insurance payers in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned A/R through consistent follow-up using payer portals and CentralReach Claim Accelerator to drive timely claim resolution and payment
• Research and resolve claim status, denials, rejections, and payment discrepancies, including reviewing EOBs/ERAs and payer adjudication
• Submit corrected claims, appeals, and supporting documentation while maintaining HIPAA and confidentiality requirements

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare medical billing and/or A/R experience required
• Strong understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle, including claim submission and payment posting
• Experience with medical billing and medical coding
• Associate degree and/or medical billing/coding certification such as AHIMA or AAPC preferred
• Experience working with CentralReach (CR) strongly preferred
