Revenue Cycle AR Specialist

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and proactive, the full-time Revenue Cycle AR Specialist will manage assigned accounts receivable, resolve claim issues, and communicate with insurance payers while working remotely from the MST or PST time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned A/R through consistent follow-up using payer portals and CentralReach Claim Accelerator to drive timely claim resolution and payment
• Research and resolve claim status, denials, rejections, and payment discrepancies, including review of EOBs/ERAs
• Submit corrected claims and assist with payer audits, ensuring required documentation is completed timely

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare medical billing and/or A/R experience required
• Strong understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle, including claim submission and payment posting
• Experience researching claims and identifying root causes of billing and payment issues
• Associate degree and/or medical billing/coding certification such as AHIMA or AAPC preferred
• Experience with CentralReach and familiarity with ABA billing practices preferred
