Revenue Cycle Architect

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of end-to-end revenue cycle solutions, the full-time Revenue Cycle Architect will work remotely to optimize workflows, ensure compliance, and collaborate with clinical and financial teams within large-scale healthcare IT environments.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and design comprehensive revenue cycle solutions, including patient access, coding, billing, and denials management
• Define and document scalable workflows that align with federal and state regulations while serving as a subject matter expert in revenue cycle operations
• Guide system configuration and integration efforts, identify process gaps, and drive performance improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• 8-12+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, consulting, or system implementation
• Proven experience designing end-to-end revenue cycle processes across various workflows
• Hands-on experience with EHR platforms such as Oracle Health (Cerner) or Epic, particularly in Patient Accounting modules
• Demonstrated expertise in system architecture and enterprise workflow optimization
• Experience supporting federal and/or state healthcare programs is strongly preferred
