Revenue Cycle Billing Manager

Job Summary

Managing professional billing operations, the full-time Revenue Cycle Billing Liaison Manager will serve as the primary liaison between departments, the Professional Billing Office, and third-party vendors to enhance revenue cycle efficiency and resolve issues while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the Professional Billing Office as a subject matter expert and ensure service levels are met
• Collaborate with departments and vendors to optimize processes and improve revenue cycle performance
• Monitor and report on revenue cycle metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a Healthcare-related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5-7 years of experience in managing professional billing functions in an academic medical center
• 3-5 years of experience with Epic systems preferred
• Advanced knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle functions, coding, and billing guidelines
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Windows-based software, including Microsoft Excel and Access
