Revenue Cycle Billing Manager

Job Summary

Managing professional billing operations, the full-time Revenue Cycle Billing Liaison Manager will supervise and coordinate all aspects of billing while acting as the primary liaison between departments, third-party vendors, and stakeholders to enhance revenue cycle performance in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on revenue cycle items for designated departments, ensuring service levels are met
• Collaborate with departments and vendors to streamline processes and implement improvements for optimal billing efficiency
• Monitor revenue cycle performance, prepare reports, and facilitate meetings to discuss key trends and improvement opportunities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a Healthcare-related field or equivalent work experience
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in managing professional billing functions, preferably in an academic medical center
• Advanced knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle functions, including coding, billing guidelines, and payer regulations
• Experience with Epic systems preferred
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Windows-based software, including Microsoft Excel and Access
