Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist to manage the collection of aging medical insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities

• File claims using appropriate forms and attachments
• Research account denials and file written appeals as necessary
• Verify patient information and benefits while documenting efforts in the CUBS system

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Formal training in Insurance Billing is preferred
• Knowledge of all insurance payers is preferred
• Proficient PC knowledge with typing speed of 30-40 wpm
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
