Key Responsibilities

• Manage claim submission processes, including pre and post claim reviews, denials, and resubmissions
• Perform follow-up activities with insurance companies to ensure timely payments and resolve issues
• Analyze and correct billing errors, maintaining compliance with payer requirements and internal standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of healthcare billing experience in a hospital or medical office setting
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, such as Cerner, Athena, or Epic
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in team settings
