Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist will manage hospital claims follow-up, resolve denials, and ensure timely reimbursement from insurance providers while adhering to regulatory compliance and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding hospital claims to ensure timely reimbursement
• Investigate and resolve unpaid claims by collaborating with insurance providers and internal departments
• Submit reconsiderations and appeals for claims, ensuring accurate documentation and justification

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in revenue cycle management
• Completion of formal training in Insurance Billing and follow-up is advantageous
• Familiarity with various insurance payers
• Proficiency in PC operations, including typing at a rate of 30-40 words per minute
