Revenue Cycle Claims Associate

Job Summary

Responsible for filing insurance claims with accuracy and timeliness, the full-time Revenue Cycle Claims Associate will work remotely to verify patient insurance eligibility, investigate account discrepancies, and communicate with insurance providers to ensure proper reimbursement.

Key responsibilities:

• Determine initial and ongoing patient insurance eligibility for claims, including commercial and government insurance
• Investigate and correct accounts within Epic and other systems, ensuring accurate patient and financial information
• Research and resolve missing or erroneous information on accounts, interacting with various insurance payors as needed

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 3+ months of experience in any healthcare field
• Strong knowledge of order management and insurance claims procedures
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and health insurance terms
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, such as Word and Outlook
