Revenue Cycle Claims Associate

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle operations, the full-time Revenue Cycle Claims Associate II will manage the accurate filing of insurance claims, determine patient eligibility, and resolve claim issues while working remotely during standard business hours aligned with the CST time zone.

Key responsibilities

• Independently verify patient insurance eligibility and correct accounts within Epic
• Research and resolve claim issues, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and payer regulations
• Monitor and manage claims workflows, including escalations and bulk claim projects

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years in a revenue cycle role and 3+ years in medical billing or insurance processing
• Extensive knowledge of claim submission requirements and denial reason codes for various insurance types
• Proficiency in EHR systems, particularly Epic, and strong computer skills
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work independently
