Revenue Cycle Collector

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Revenue Cycle Collector will manage accounts with insurance companies and patients to resolve payment issues, ensuring maximum reimbursement through effective claim evaluation and appeal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Completes assigned accounts within work queues and initiates appeals for underpayments
• Interprets EOBs and ERAs to ensure proper payment and educates patients on benefit plans
• Documents all actions taken and establishes payment arrangements for patients unable to pay in full

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Three years of experience in a hospital or related field, or strong customer service background
• Working knowledge of Epic Resolute, Epic Care, and Epic CPOE
• Intermediate Excel knowledge is a must
