Revenue Cycle Compliance Auditor

Job Summary

To enhance internal controls surrounding resident funds, the part-time Revenue Cycle Compliance Auditor will perform ongoing audits of Resident Trust accounts and related processes remotely, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine and targeted audits of Resident Trust accounts in PointClickCare (PCC) and RFMS, reviewing transactions, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
• Identify and communicate documentation deficiencies, financial discrepancies, and compliance concerns to leadership, tracking corrective actions through resolution
• Assist with other Revenue Cycle audit activities, including Medicaid and insurance audit requests, while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or healthcare Revenue Cycle operations
• Strong analytical skills to review detailed financial transactions and identify discrepancies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work within multiple financial and healthcare information systems
• Experience with auditing, accounting, or compliance processes is preferred
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to skilled nursing facilities is beneficial
