Revenue Cycle Coordinator

Job Summary

Supporting management in the billing and collection processes, the full-time Revenue Cycle Coordinator will work remotely to maintain accounts receivable, resolve complex payer issues, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate billing and collection processes for accounts receivable across multiple facilities
• Resolve complex payer issues and support management in overall Revenue Cycle collection duties
• Demonstrate knowledge of hospital revenue cycle components, including registration, charge capture, and account balance resolution

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in hospital accounts receivable or patient accounts
• Intermediate knowledge of accounting principles related to accounts receivable
• Understanding of billing practices for at least one payer type, with knowledge of additional payer types preferred
• Familiarity with Maryland and DC reimbursement regulations is preferred
