Revenue Cycle Denial Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Denial Specialist, responsible for managing post-billed denials and rejections for hospital and professional claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze denials to determine root cause and appropriate resolution strategy
• Prepare, submit, and track payer appeals within required timeframes
• Collaborate with various departments to address denial drivers and improve workflows

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or Certification in Healthcare Business, or equivalent experience
• Three (3) years of healthcare experience in a revenue cycle position
• Three (3) years of experience with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
