Revenue Cycle Financial Representative

Job Summary

To enhance revenue cycle operations, the full-time Revenue Cycle Financial Representative will manage insurance claims submissions, follow up on denials, and ensure accurate payment postings while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Submit insurance claims accurately and respond to denials and re-bills
• Conduct follow-up and collections by interfacing with internal and external departments to resolve discrepancies
• Research and reconcile patient accounts, addressing issues related to payments, charges, and insurance denials

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Two years of experience in Hospital or Physician Insurance activities (e.g., Authorization, Billing, Follow-Up)
• Advanced knowledge of insurance billing, collections, and terminology
• Intermediate knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes
• Familiarity with UB-04, HCFA-1500 forms, and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) interpretation
