Revenue Cycle Financial Representative

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Financial Representative will perform complex pre-services, financial counseling, and customer service functions, including pre-service estimates, payment collections, and addressing billing inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Create hospital and physician estimates and obtain authorization requirements
• Educate patients on benefits and payment expectations while securing pre-payments
• Monitor financial assistance approvals and address patient billing inquiries through various channels

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities
• Advanced knowledge of insurance billing, collections, and terminology
• Intermediate knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
