Revenue Cycle Financial Representative

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the full-time Revenue Cycle Financial Representative will perform complex pre-service financial counseling, manage patient inquiries, and facilitate payment collections while working remotely from various states.

Key responsibilities

• Create hospital and physician estimates, review eligibility, and obtain authorizations
• Provide benefit education to patients and secure payments at the time of service
• Assist patients with financial assistance and address billing inquiries through various communication channels

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities
• Advanced knowledge of insurance billing, collections, and terminology
• Intermediate knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
