Revenue Cycle Financial Representative

Job Summary

To support the Centralized Estimates team, the full-time Revenue Cycle Financial Representative will create pre-service cost estimates, verify patient coverage, and track data related to insurance benefits and cost estimates for services in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Verifies patient coverage and service-specific benefits
• Reviews and creates hospital and physician estimates using the Epic Patient Estimator
• Documents and explains benefit breakdowns and out-of-pocket costs for patient understanding

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities or call center customer service
• Advanced knowledge of insurance billing, collections, and terminology
• Intermediate knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
